Look at the link below. I would suggest buying more than the minimum amount of insurance. Buy as much liability insurance as you can. Accidents and medical bills are very expensive.
Legally? State minimum.
While you only need the state minimums:
Bodily injury: $10,000
Property damage: $5,000 per accident
Personal injury protection (PIP): $15,000 per person, per accident
It’s advised that you choose a slightly better policy that costs a bit more, but better-protects you from people who might want to sue you.
